Amanda started at Ruthman’s Gusher Pumps division in order entry before quickly moving into inside sales. In addition to her duties fielding inquiries, quoting pumps, and training new inside sales representatives, her team attitude saw her taking on projects such as the company’s ISO coordination, ERP integration, and PumpIQ selector development.

In 2023, Amanda transitioned into a Regional Sales Manager role on Ruthman’s National Sales Team. Her continued contributions to sales and marketing led to the creation of the Executive Vice President – Sales and Marketing position. In this new role, she is responsible for inside sales and marketing efforts for all Ruthman’s manufacturing brands.

Amanda’s favorite part of working in the pump industry is visiting plants and seeing firsthand the diverse manufacturing processes involved in producing everything from car hoods to Styrofoam cups. She finds real satisfaction in identifying solutions to customer challenges and seeing them successfully implemented.

Just as meaningful to her as the technical side of the business is the people side. Over the past 20 years, she has built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers across the country, and values the quality time spent with mentors and peers who are no longer with us.

Within Ruthman Companies, she feels fortunate to have the support and opportunity to drive positive change and is excited to bring that energy to her new role.
