Ruthman Companies Creates New Strategic Leadership Position

Andres Spallazi tapped for Executive Vice President – Strategy and Procurement role

Ruthman Companies has appointed Andres Spallazi to the role of Executive Vice President – Strategy and Procurement. This newly created position is intended to leverage the company’s scale, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive alignment across its pump and valve manufacturing, repair and distribution divisions.

In this role, Andres will lead group-wide procurement initiatives, focusing on negotiating commercial terms across key suppliers, including pricing and payment structures. This will involve working closely with leadership teams across all Ruthman companies to develop and optimize processes and procedures that promote consistency, scalability, and long-term growth. Additionally, in collaboration with both corporate and divisional company leadership, Andres will help identify and execute strategic growth opportunities across the organization.

Andres brings to the role a strong background in supply chain management, procurement strategy, and practical, data-driven business planning gained over several years at Procter & Gamble in various purchasing and business development roles. Most recently, he managed complex supply chains supporting North American operations for more than 25 home care products.

In addition to his supply chain leadership, he has managed key supplier relationships, developed long-term sourcing strategies, and introduced performance tools that improved supplier collaboration and accountability. Andres laid the foundation for his career at P&G with roles in growth strategy consulting, M&A alignment, and building scalable operational processes for emerging companies.

Andres’ combination of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and collaborative leadership will play a key role as Ruthman Companies continues to align its businesses and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
