These are design elements that help Enclosed Column sealless pumps eliminate leaks:

Throttle Bushing

• Designed to reduce leakage across the throttle bushing into the column.

Open Impeller

• Pump-out vanes on the back side further reduce leakage.

Enclosed Column

• Any fluid which does make it past the throttle bushing is collected in the enclosed column and discharged back to the suction or supply tank. This eliminates all external leaks!

This design is so simple yet proven with years of leak- and maintenance-free operation in industrial installations.
